Good position coach. Good guy. Good father and husband. I don't recall anyone doubting that on eGriz. Peter Principle. He was promoted beyond his ability, and probably accepted the job because the Griz ship was rudderless, and needed someone to keep the whole program from going down the Engstrom drain. He gets the credit and the blame for this season, as it goes with the job. I don't see a bye week as being of much benefit at this point of the season(as far a coaches are concerned), as they have been incapable of "adjusting" during the games, screwup after screwup(clock management, wasted time outs, "special" teams, sticking with players who needed to be taken out, defensive schemes which left mouths open, etc., etc.), and no one held accountable, which is his job as Head Coach.
I hope he announces his re-retirement, and doesn't drag his legacy through the mud.

I have been coached by Mick...I'd compare it to a bandaid with puss oozing out the sides...His belly was a lot smaller back then. I think he's truly a nice man. :grenade:

if you mean making remarks about the ignorant decisions from the coach....then you are correct.

Punk...? that's like getting carded when you're damn near 40, hasn't happened in forever but feels good every once in awhile.

And because you name positions, rather than names....good one. Nobody will ever know who they are!

The fact that Delaney is a "crappy" head coach has nothing to do with Stubbins being over 40 or making harsh comments about him on this board. It is just a fact that Delaney is a bad HC.
