This goes back to my commentary about reason and logic. What I’ve done is state that our new UM president is an attractive man. I’ve also stated on eGriz that Chris’s girlfriend is very attractive. I stated in the past that PR has a beautiful wife. Do you honestly not understand where the line is drawn? Do you not understand the difference between making somebody feel uncomfortable or being creepy And stating that somebody is attractive? Some people don’t understand. Others try to attack someone they believe is liberal in their politics by playing this little game you’re playing. I’m trying to figure out the difference. Do you really not get it?

GGNEZ, I have enjoyed your posts since being back. Thank you. On the topic, President Bodnar will be successful because he has been nothing but successful in his life. He is a prodigy and UM is very fortunate to have him.

Some folks may not like what he does, but that is not his problem it is theirs and actually if you dug a little deeper I reckon you would find a lack of Emotional Intelligence and Maturity surrounding the situation, much of what we see on fan forums. Just because a guy reaches an age he is suppose to be emotionally intelligent and mature there is no magic pill for getting it. The internet, yea, perpetuates the problem. The only reason I say this is because it took me several years after my expected maturation date to recognize I was behind the power curve.

Pres Bodnar, again, we are lucky to have him.

I used to work in HR and would use the dress example often: You can tell a woman you like her dress, but don't follow it up with, "it will look good on my floor."

I also think Bodnar will be great. I like how communicative he intends to be - hope he follows through.

Agreed....so glad Bodnar is here. I get what you're saying about emotional maturity (or lack thereof). It just doesn't seem like rocket science to me to understand that making a man or woman feel uncomfortable with unwanted advances, comments, etc isn't appropriate or respectful but noting that a public figure is handsome has nothing to do with that issue. Immature or not, it simply seems that common sense is lacking in many people who don't understand (or pretend not to understand) the difference.

Exactly. And they know that they don't like liberals (or conservatives) so they try to argue against their perceived political foe without understanding the issues enough to form a reasonable opinion. ie: they are pretty sure that being against sexual harassment is a liberal/feminist thing, so if they can catch a female calling a man attractive, then, GOTCHA! "you called a guy good-looking, you're a hypocrite!"

Doesn't even make sense...the understanding of the concept of sexual harassment isn't there on even a fundamental level. See why we're screwed, America?

We needed to get back to basics and my gut tells me we have covered those bases... I believe the academies and Bobby Hauck football have a lot in common. Do it right, right from the start! You and coach Hauck are very similar! Both strong willed winner's who have ethics and very good moral fiber.. I AM SO HAPPY! Montana was at it's best when our sports programs flourished and especially football! Our past administration chose to blame everything negative on the football program when, in fact, his ,quick fix, plan to saturate our campus with middle east, christian haters was our down fall!!! I can not wait for you all to get started... Get our student athletes back on top and enrollment will take care of itself!
