I've received many PMs today about streaming Griz games. So, I want to answer some questions.
Question 1. Can I watch a Root Sports game online? Yes, if someone hosts it.
Question 2. Grizpsych, are you streaming (hosting) the game? No. Although I am capable of doing so privately, I have found it to be too much of a hassle.
Question 3. Can you teach me to stream games to friends that can not purchase viewing it? Yes I can. Indeed, if it's electronic information, I can teach you how to share it. Here, this is legal as long as the host does not profit from the stream.

Question 4. Grizpsych, why write anything about streaming? Good question that has a two part answer. One, shit!y Big Sky teams have all games streamed online for free. Two, you used to be able to get a shit!y KPAX stream of all Griz games from the missoulian website as recently as 2010. The quality wasn't sell-able but it was a nice gesture to those unable to watch/pay for the game. And, I think this should still be available. How else will the Griz gain new fans and increase enrollment? No one is going to pick a novel Griz game over a Big 5 game, unless it's free.
