Well the last week is upon us, lets look at the current standings:

PSU 11-2
NAU 9-5
WSU 9-5
MSU 7-7
ISU 7-7
UM 7-7
EWU 6-9
UNC 5-9
CSUS 2-12

- Portland just about has the tourney wrapped up - if they win just one of their last 3 games its theirs, they play @ MSU, @ UM and then home against EWU

- NAU is battling with Weber for the other bye, this Thursday will determine who gets that spot when the two teams meet in Flagstaff. NAU follows that game playing ISU on Sunday.

- Weber after playing @ NAU head to Sac St, presumably an easy win, if they beat NAU they presumably should beat Sac and get the #2 seed

- MSU as stated before in another thread holds some key tie-breakers, they have two home games remaining against PSU and UNC. The Cats have lost two in a row, they'll be hoping for a big rebound this week.

- ISU heads to Sac and then travels to Flagstaff.

- UM hosts UNC and then PSU

- EWU is on the outside looking in, looking at their schedule they might already be eliminated as they were swept by both UM and MSU (so the tie-breaker would favor the Montana schools). They did split with ISU, however I think ISU would break that tie with similar opponents.

- UNC & Sac are out

-----

So it's mostly a battle for positioning, this Thursday will really clear the picture up because we might know by then who will most likely host and who most likely will be the #2 and #3 teams.

If I could throw out a guess looking at how teams have been playing and their upcoming opponents I'd bet the tourney will look like this:

1. PSU (bye)
2. NAU (bye)
3. WSU
4. UM
5. MSU
6. ISU

----
Looking at things from a Griz perspective I really hope they can finish with a home game, although they'll need help. I like a Griz-Cat matchup in either Missoula or Bozo rather than having to watch the Griz travel back to NAU or Weber (depending on where those two teams finish).

Both EWU and Northern Colorado have a chance to get into the tournament. EWU beat PSU which would be a tiebreaker over ISU.

Northern Colorado has tiebreakers over Montana. Northern Colorado has to sweep the Griz and Cats and hope the Griz lose both games.

EWU has to beat PSU on the road mar. 4th, and ISU has to lose both games on the road against NAU and Sac St.

We will also know after thursday's games whether Griz will have a chance to get the 4th seed. Cat's have to lose to PSU and Griz have to beat PSU for any chance at 4th seed.

Griz can take care of business just be beating NoColo Thursday night .. Clinches the tourney spot, eliminates NoColo and EWash as far as Griz are concerned.
