Some internet in Missoula has been down for about 3 days
 
This should be the last yawner before conference play begins. I will still be there though, haven't missed a home game yet.
 
charlie cox from hellgate is starting along with jeff graham out of chester and their leading scorer is tyler palmer out of fairfield

Yeah, it will be a yawner. But, this is finals week. Lady Griz almost lost today because they weren't quite ready for the game today against a decent team. Because of finals, the girls couldn't practice together this week, except maybe sunday. This problem is same for the men.

So, I think it is good to have a game like this during finals week. May not be fun for the fans, but easier for the players when finding practice time is very tough. The game against MT Western may not be a blow out like you'd think it should be because of the lack of preparation for it. Finals all day, player-students have that final tomorrow and next day to think about. Tough to concentrate on that free throw or spending time trying to know the strengths and weaknesses of MT Western.
 
For anyone who wants to know exactly how to NOT play defense, watch Western Montana. They can't spell defense, let alone play it.

True I wasn't complaining about this game. I realize it is kind of a tradition for the Griz to play a frontier team during finals week & I have no problem w/it. The Lady Griz have a killer schedule over the next week & half, which must be killer during finals. I just don't expect a very close game.
 
Turnovers, offensive rebounds and 2nd chance point improvement over the next three games with no drop off in the others area's should give the Griz a win over Wisc-Milw. That game will tell alote of where the Griz are at compared to NCAA tourn'y teams going into conference play. The win against Drake @ their house was fantastic. A win over Wisc-Milw on the 30th would be huge.

I'll be listening tonight on the MIGHTY 790 KGHL in Billings. Confirmed today that KGHL will also air the Riverside, Santa Clara & Wisc-Milw games. Thanks again Jim Odea, KGHL and it's sponsors for bringing Grizzly basketball back to the remote outpost of Billings.
 
Griz by 38. They've got 95 with 5 minutes to play. Everyone in uniform has played and all of them have scored.
