What was the final score to the game?? ESPN says 68-41. Montana outscored EWU 48-15 in the second half. A 27 point victory is impressive. Is that right? People are saying otherwise on this thread. Just not sure.

I'm not talking trash, believe me.... I was at the game, and it absolutely sucked!!!! Eastern deserved to win it no doubt. But it wasn't a pasting... not even close. Ask Weber about that when we beat 'em like 81-22.... :dance: arty:

But agree, EWU isn't to be taken lightly, ever. Seems they always have our number..... Looking foward to watching the game at Washington's Grizzly Stadium next year though... :thumb: Hope to see you there.. :wink:

Yeah, whatever....having 2-4 thousand Griz fans show up in an 11,000 seat stadium is not having more fans there than us. I am sick and tired of hearing that bullshit.

Just givin you guys a hard time - it's fun being the mighty Montana's thorn in the side. But for the record, the closest you came to outnumbering EWU fans was in '02 at Albi when we ended your win streak. Total attendance was 15,000, I'm guessing 6,000 or 7,000 of which were Griz fans. Still, awfully impressive and you guys may have been louder.

Now, go smoke NAU and host the tourney will ya!

I guess I can't blame you for trying to shift a BASKETBALL THREAD to football given that we have now swept you 2 straight years in BB and 3 straight at vaunted Reese Court. Where were all the fans you guys kept saying would be there?? Pretty sad I think.

He was there, looked fine. I don't think he's in the doghouse, but sometimes I think its hard for coach to find a good time where the flow allows Mike to come in. Last night, the team was focused on defense, and we were running a box and 1. It was a new look the coaches threw in for EWU (Stuckey), and we were switching defenses whether he was in or not. Mike does some nice things on the court, but his strong point isn't disciplined, tough defense.

Actually, somebody else started the football talk, I was just correcting the mis-informed :thumb: . As for hoops, again, you guys own us. As for fans, also not my words, although anytime we get over 3000 it's good. In Spokane you see GU hats in the winter, and WSU hats in the fall.

I don't know, I was there in '02 and we had our side of Albi filled, Eastern's wasn't. The attendence was 17,142 (per goeags website). I'm saying 10,000 Griz vs 7,000 Eastern.
