I would think this would lead to Tulane as a likely possibility.
This post is from a fake Pete Thamel...
Memphis and Tulane are definitely the next 2 most attractive programs out there and they will likely accept if offered. I read an article out of the local paper in Reno today that said the PAC doesn't wanna be a super conference will all kinds of members and said they would likely stick to just 9 full time members. Not sure if that guy has inside info or if he is just speculating, but that would leave one spot for the likes of UTSA, UNLV, UNM, etc. Should be interesting to see how it shakes out!Even though the twitter I chose to quote is fake, it still looks like Memphis and Tulane are the focus of the Pac. I believe that UTSA and UNLV have to be right near the top of their list also.
I can't see them pass up either the Vegas or San Antonio market if those schools are interested. I think a hurdle for UNLV though is if the State of Nevada ties Reno to them. I think UNM is a longshot at best.Memphis and Tulane are definitely the next 2 most attractive programs out there and they will likely accept if offered.
