"The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Johnson made two starts in his four seasons at Cal. He started one game in 2022 and one in 2021 as a redshirt freshman. He saw action in five games in 2021 and eight games in 2022."
Only played in 1 game last season. 2 starts for Cal shows that he's got good potential.

Buried on the depth chart, like so many kids at big schools. So great that he’s going to get the opportunity to contribute, and possibly, regularly, play football. The FCS gives them a chance.

Good point. We seem to get a number of those types of linemen, who rise and excel when they get to MT. Sometimes a new opportunity, a new chance, and a chance of scenery can do wonders. I've noticed that in both college and professional sports over the years. The Griz coaches seem to be good at finding guys like that, who will excel at UM. The 3 graduating o-lineman. Harris at d-end. Todd at d-end. I'm sure many others.
