Number1debater, I'm just glad Caleb McSurdy doesn't have your personality, because i know he's DAMN PROUD OF HIS TEAMMATE TRUMAINE JOHNSON, just as Tru is proud of Caleb.

I wonder how many of you (if you're still season ticket holders and some of you won't be because you are old and racist) will boycott the game the day Tru is inducted into the Grizzly Hall of Fame because HE WILL BE no matter how many racists want him not to be. Besides Alpha, I bet none of you have the balls to publicly boycott the day Tru is inducted into the HOF.

Back to the topic at hand. CONGRATS to Caleb McSurdy. I have EDIT NO doubts he'll make a 53-man roster in the NFL one day.

McSurdy was a maybe to be drafted, McSurdy is not as talented, he had to work his balls off to get into the draft. If Tru had worked as hard he would have been a 1st or 2nd rounder. Long-time lurker here. I'm a Cowboys fan and obviously thrilled with the McSurdy pick. He's unknown to most NFL/Dallas fans so I have been enlightening the ones on CowboysZone.com. You'll be happy to know, many are already intrigued. The Cowboys will play him at ILB but RB coach Skip Peete also worked him out at FB at his Pro Day. I'm sure his flexibility and love of the game more than made up for his pedestrian combine numbers.

Most importantly, Caleb really held his own with the nasty Dallas media. One reporter made a crack about him only being a two-year starter and he turned it into an opportunity to thank Shawn Lebsock for all of his mentorship.

I follow the NFL draft very closely and between Mariani, Shann, Wilson and now Tru and Caleb, Montana is on the radar at a time when we need all the recruiting help we can get.

I hate the cowboys too. They are 3rd most hated (NFL) for me behind Oakland and Denver (from a Chiefs fan). But is still a pro team and a good kid will get a nice paycheck anyway.

Ok successfully out of the bathroom ...... Caleb will surprise people and won't be shocked to see him on the opening day roster...... obviously thrilled with the selection by Jerry Jones ..... was hopeful Tru was headed there..... will gladly pay more attention to the spring & summer mini camps to watch Caleb's progress!

Kem, you're right and I apologize, it's a bad sterotype to associate racism with age, though statistics veryify that the "baby boomer generation" does have a large racist history towards african americans, especially in sports. But you're right, it's a bad anology for Griz fans though i KNOW for a fact there are racist Griz fans.

As for debater, that just goes to show your ignorance, Trumaine Johnson has NOT been arrested twice and If you care to look it up. then come back with the proof. If you're going to claim you don't have racial intentions towards your posts about the kid, why the lies about him then, because he hasn't been arrested twice and he isn't in a gang. But don't take my word for it, Just ask him or his mom, or his teammates, INCLUDING CALEB MCSURDY. Why don't you ask Caleb if Tru is in a gang. I dare you. Kids who are in gangs will proudly tell you they are.
