The question keeps coming up whether McGillis is a d-1 athlete in Basketball so letts look at the worst case options

Are you talking about football or basketball? Jack is just a great athlete.
I feel he could play at D-1 in basketball but not sure about football. He is just a great athlete and could contribute in football but I think he's best at basketball.
Being a great person he would be an asset to any program.

McGillis, with his strong personal connections to Missoula, will almost undoubtedly end up a Griz. I know his Grandpa, who plays a very strong role in his life, would love for him to stay in town.

His dad, the late Chip McGillis, used to play football for the Bobcats, I think Jack will play where he has the best chance to play. You are right tos he would probably prefer to play at home, but if the opportunities look better in Bozo or anywhere else, I bet he'll play there.

I saw in the paper McGillis only had 7 points against Butte on 3-13 from the floor>>>>what happened?? (is he a legit D-1 player?)

I don't know. Why don't you look at your previous posts on other threads where you were praising him as a D1 player. A few sub-par games and now it's a huge question. Who's your NFL team....Oh yeah, The Patriots.

Was he in foul trouble or did the officials try to take him out of the game?? Speak to me Monthoops, i know you follow jack faithfully.

If i am correct in assumeing this cant we just give Jeff Edwards of Butte some credit in defending the guy? He can put up awesome defensive stats and lord willing he becomes a force on the other end of the floor 2

I'll give credit to Jeff Edwards. He is very good for a sophomore, and at 6'8" is pretty sick. He definitely had the better game this time around. Butte did a good job of containing McGillis, as that was their goal. Coach Thatcher's quote from the paper was, "We'll give up 5 threes to Morris, If that means McGillis has none." Jack definitely could have and should have played better, along with the whole rest of the team. They'll bounce back, I have no doubt.

you can give credit to whoever you want. so maybe you are right edwards locked jack up this time, but you all have to think about where they were.....BUTTE. it is so true that the officials are deathly afraid of thatcher, so you know the knights got screwed in some way.....they shot 2 free throws the whole game! butte is very strong at home, but thats why.
