I thought you were "certain" Bobby would never open the door to him being back on the team? Should we really take your thoughts seriously on this subject?

Also, AZ is great. I've argued with him plenty and agreed with him. He's a smart dude, and an adult that can have a reasoned opinion and handle people disagreeing with him. I'd enjoy the hell out of grabbing a beer with him. You probably would too.
 
I think a lot of what is being missed while we all have our opinions, is that the coaches and players are the ones in the locker room every day, and they all know Clif and know the situation better than any of us ever could. If Bobby Hauck is ready to give the kid a mulligan, there is a reason. If the coaches and players think he can help the team and they vote to bury the hatchet, then it would be kind of weird for fans to think that we know better what is good for the culture or good for the locker room.

Hauck 2.0 got us back to the Natty and is doing a great job in the #RTD realm. I say we let Bobby cook.

Don't think we can make that claim considering we haven't truly seen what Fife can do with the team. The highlights that are out there of him show alot of potential, decent running ability and a stronger arm then Cliff, kind of the opposite in general to what Cliff brings.

Could be. One led us to the NC game for the first time in a very long time; the other apparently looks good in drills. I’d want both on the roster.

I 99.9% agree with this post except that I would not give him a thing - nor even waste anytime with him. He could care less about the Griz and never did. It's all about Cliff,Cliff,Cliff. As you know Bobby reads MY posts so I am sure he will take this into consideration.

I'm not down with 8th grade name calling. He loses my respect when can't make a post to me without it.

AZGriz is one of the best posters on egriz. Virtually everyone likes him. It's amusing to see the comments of the poster on the board that virtually no one likes.
 
Verbally committing and going elsewhere is commonly done, and is not even close to being the same as playing/starting for a season, departing abruptly, and then trying to come back 3 months later (after spring ball and after a good transfer, who has had some FBS starts, has come. Whatever Hauck and the team/seniors decide is fine with me (with special input from the qb's). Voting/deciding to bring a former player back in this type of situation would reduce much of the bad that could normally occur. I just wouldn't want his return to be disruptive.

Dude, from the time I joined this board and disagreed with you, you went straight to calling me "Bobby's Ball Boy," and plenty of other names. I've made legitimate points to you, and your only response was to either claim I am a crappy fan who doesn't understand anything or accuse me of being an alt account of Hoops. And that is just me, who has posted here for less than a year.

You can't now play the card of losing respect for people if they call names. Practice what you preach.

I just think this take is hilariously wrong. OUR defense (a top playoff team) exposed EVERY QB we played in the playoffs. Every single one of them underperformed their season averages…some by a very wide margin. WTF do you expect to happen when the talent level of the competition rises?
