Pretty sure his high sprain ankle injury in 2010 that left him out of 6 games probably had more to do with him getting "shut down". EWU was just able to take advantage of the situation.
 
He was out of options and designated for assignment by the Cubs, removing him from the 40 man roster, essentially giving up on him. The Pads picked him up before he was released. He hasn't been hitting this year and the Cubs still licking their wounds from the beatdown handed to them by the Yanks over the weekend, need some adjustments.

Just the guy in the 2009 NC, Villanova vs. Griz who, almost single-handedly, beat the Griz. As it was, the Griz lost by only 2 points. I think Hauck had a time figuring out the wildcat formations that Szcuzr ran so effectively. Pretty damn gifted athlete.

"Almost"? There was no "almost" about it. Without him, Griz win that one in a rout.

...you mean the game where our linebacker Shaw let the tight end loose in the end zone for the winning points. Oh yeah Sczuzr was good too.
