I remember Grady saying something during the UNA broadcast about him being academically ineligible to start the season. Does anyone know if it's a 4 game suspension and he will be eligible to play against UC Davis? He would be a great addition to the depth of that stand up rush position

It’s my understanding that if you’re academically ineligible then you’re out the season. Not sure what the 4-game suspension might be for being ineligible.

I had read somewhere about a rule regarding football players that didnt earn the requisite credit hours in the fall that said they wouldnt be eligible to play for the first 4 games of the next season. I was just hoping that was the situation, but the only information I have is what grady bennett said.

I’m wondering if this is the same situation that Lorenzo Brown and Tolliver are dealing with, I haven’t seen Tolliver at all and Brown is sitting with the redshirts, haven’t seen Hemphill play either

Hemphill has played on all special teams.

Lorenzo is suspended for 3-4 games as a penance for punching a guy at a party end of last season.
