I gotta say... 15 years of reading this forum and it's posters, it just gets better and better. You can't pay for this entertainment.

Not taking sides but some of the comments starting to come in following the article are a bit hypocritical....

.......................

"Attacking people with different opinions is simply not acceptable."

"Hey buddy, ignore if you don't like what she has to say."

"The article isn't even really about that, but about the fact that a grown man would think this kind of harassment is okay because of a difference of opinion."

"....you part of his little bully army?"

.......................

See what I'm getting at? These opinions could apply to both sides of the argument. Look in the mirror, that's all.

In the end, the petition fails, she is plastered all over the media, and MB (and Egriz) get more traffic. Huh.

This is exactly what Kato was hoping to have happen when he wrote the hit piece earlier this week. Petitions, division, etc. He literally created this whole scenario. Total garbage.
and alpha stepped right into the snare! At some level I think he would be gratified if his buffoonery resulted in the decision to hire Hauck being reversed. Hopefully, Haslam is well aware of what a joke Alpha is and will ignore his antics.

I bet all eight people who frequent that cesspool of a website are deeply troubled by this report.

The latest thread on MB suggests he thinks Kato (God, I wish it was Cato! Think Pink Panther movies) is the one who stepped in it.

Embarrassing for all Griz Fans. Alpha is doing wonderful job of proving her point for her.

Yup. This needs to stop. We look bad because of how Griz fans are behaving online (forums, twitter, facebook included). Other people have different opinions, and interests. And that's just fine.

I do not support the public defamation of Hauck, however.

BW, you're right. People are saying though that she also crossed a line with the book meme.

In other words, no one's innocent here.

That was a major line cross. I’m staying out of this....for now. Let’s get Bobby back then no holds bar

But what is getting lost here is that when someone does this for attention and refuses to be reasonable about facts, it hurts the progress for the legitimate and horrific problem of actual sexual assault. Has this petition and Missoulian articles tainted your viewpoint of those who are actually doing the good work on addressing this problem? If so, that makes the guilty parties a vicious and selfish double abuser in my book, certainly not a victim. This isn’t about whether Hauck should be the coach, it is about fair treatment. That is what makes my blood boil.

That is why I desperately hope for a defamation case.

I don’t agree with what she did. I think women like her taint the actual struggle most women face like you said. However, she did nothing legally wrong so a defamation law suit is not even sort of a viable option

I believe you. I’m not a lawyer. Seems like defamation to me with false facts and direct accusations meant to harm.

That said, WTF alpha.

Alpha sounds like a damn nut. Jeez dude, take a chill pill. He's making all Griz fans look bad.

Nope, I'm not. I disagree with her petition and the background information she uses. But there's a line of civil disagreement that I think was crossed.

Yep, as with the Missoulian article. Major crossing.

But what is getting lost here is that when someone does this for attention and refuses to be reasonable about facts, it hurts the progress for the legitimate and horrific problem of actual sexual assault. That is why I desperately hope she loses all her money in a defamation case, which we know won’t happen because it wouldn’t be worth the publicity that would ensue.
I so agree astute. I for one see no place for all that is coming to the for front in media, Hollywood, politics, etc. It is a start to what needs to be quickly corrected in those cesspools. She crossed the line with false accusations and it does slow down the momentum. I was more talking to the point of what was done to Hauck.

Wow. I always thought the AlphaGriz persona was just an internet persona. But he seems just as douchey going by his real name.

Yep. Sorry. I started to just agree with you, then went off on a tangent. Should have been it’s own post, and not a reply.

When that goes viral - and it's going to - it ought to easily be worth at least another 5000 enrollment drop. Well done.

Saw that on MB also. Anyone with half a brain can see that Alpha played right into their hands.

What did he hope to accomplish with his idiotic twitter antics? Did he think she'd pull the petition down? No of course not, she loves attention as much as Alpha does. Hell even Alpha predicted she'd try to make herself the victim and then made sure of it by posting rape jokes and other inappropriate attacks. That makes him even more of a moron for playing into her hands and keeping her and that shitty petition relevant. What a fuckin' moron and an absolute nutjob.

Because tweeting rape joke memes and doxxing someone you don't agree with is totally normal. Are you kidding me???
And her accusing a good man of fostering a rape culture is ok?

Nope, I'm not. I disagree with her petition and the background information she uses. But there's a line of civil disagreement that I think was crossed.
