I was pointing out that a 30 second google search for 'Jordan Johnson Montana' is going to return a "Former Griz Not Guilty of Sexual Assualt" or "Former Griz QB on Trial for Sexual Assault" and if you think that that will not mean anything to a future employer, regardless of the outcome, especially a high profile job or one working around kids, you are kidding yourself.NorthwestFresh said:RobGriz said:I think the idea is ANY earnings as he will always have the "tried for sexual assualt" tied to his name and almost ANY job you apply for that you are going to make money at and even some you don't have background checks. Not a ton of employers looking to hire people that have been tried for sexual assualt, guilty or not.CV Griz Fan said:How will this mess impact his future earnings related to football? That statement needs an explanation. I hope you aren't suggesting an NFL career?
Maybe after he graduates he can stay here in Missoula and one of the Griz backers that own their own business can hire him. We can only hope that Jordan, and the young woman, for that matter, can put their lives back together.
Being acquitted of sexual assault doesn't mean there was malicious prosecution, or bias by the UM.
I just wonder if people actually know what happens in a civil trial, and what is allowed versus a criminal trial. There is very little civil recourse for the acquitted, and most just want to put it behind them.
At least 25. I hope that this does not follow the kid around to that point, but lets face it, here in the real world we know that for JJ, and his accuser for that matter, the world has changed forever.cclarkblues said:RobGriz said:Not sure where you are going with this. He will also have a list of references longer than your left arm.

2. He will not play here (too many people will not accept the verdict and let it die)
3. Civil Lawsuits will be filed on JJ's behalf
4. Paoli knows there is evidence out there supporting these suits that haven't been made public yet....and he knows there are deep pockets out there
5. There will be out of court settlements getting some money back for his parents
6. Both his and her lives will forever be changed
7. Gwen will not change
8. Judge will not seek reelection
9. NCAA will release finding soon....they were waiting for this verdict to use as evidence
10. Griz football will move on...but we will always wonder how last season and next few years would have been had this whole mess not happened!

That's what Google search provides today.
In two years it will read:
"Johnson helps Montana win 2nd National Title in a row!"
