You do realize there are periods where the coaching staff can't interact with players at all, it makes it kind of tough to keep tabs on them. Plus all these kids are now adults and responsible for they're own asses.
I agree. Although there are things a leader can do and it starts with being very selective when you are recruiting student athletes., Weather it be a HS player of a college transfer.
Constant reminders of representing with integrity the brand they stand for couldn't hurt. There is a lot of things a coach can do and I don't mean to imply Choad hasn't done everything within his means to keep his players off of the front page.
If you read again my original post what I was getting at is yes.....these things happen even when the staff is doing everything right. If they begin to happen on a regular basis (and I don't mean to imply they are in Bozemen) it's possible some adjustments to be made on how the coaches keeps tabs on the kids and what I expected of them when they are not suited up.
Most Griz fans main gripe about Hauk? See what I am getting at? At least many here believe he would not be hired again by the UofM for the sole reason his players seemed to have what felt like pretty frequently off the field issues.
Wasn't his responsibility right? Kids will be kids...or young adults I guess.
Furthermore I'm not certain Murray's head is above water 100% quite yet. Looking forward to seeing him tear it up this year.
