He had a very good season for South Dakota School of Mines. Too bad that team has no defense. He was first team all conference and newcomer of the year. If I remember right he broke a conference record earlier in the year for total yards in a game.

Would have been interesting to see what he could have done in Pflu's system. Oh well, glad he's doing well at his new school!

That's ridiculous...a friend of mine that has a friend that's an insider with the Heisman people said that at the last minute the "popular favorite" would be pushed out by an "up and coming offensive genius" with quite a few others voting for someone that many years ago "was a real dick head"

I was selfishly hoping that Mariotta would have a rough showing in the PAC 12 title game and Melvin Gordon steamrolls the Buckeyes in the B1G game.... But it went quite the opposite.
