At this point, with residual twitches over last year's lousy running backs' injuries, I'm all for putting a red jersey on knight and Ostmo from now through fall camp. Yes, Iron sharpens Iron, it also causes anxiety and shitty injuries... wish them all the best and good health! Go GRIZ!!

Knight has never suffered a contact-related injury.

I don’t recall. How was he injured?

Dunno if there was contact or not, I wasn't there. However, usually when one is cutting on the playing field during a practice, its usually to avoid contact, right? Unknown if contact was made or not....and really is it at all important...honestly. The young man got injured, the end... wish him the best.

If you don't believe the post, feel free to do your own research. It is well known that Knight injured himself the first day of spring practice in a drill, without pads.

Kem, what about my first sentence doesn't make sense? Specifically, "The slang term for I don't know, and I wasn't there," seem pretty straightforward and easy to understand.

My main point is, "It doesn't matter...the kid got injured.....arguing exactly how is absurd....wish him the best." His performance and proven production were really missed last year. I'm happy to hear he's doing better and on-track to return this next fall.

When you say you don't know how he was injured right after the post "Knight has never suffered a contact-related injury" challenges the post such as you don't believe it. That post addressed the concern previously expressed for Knight in full contact this spring. That should be pretty straightforward and easy to understand.

It's unlikely he or Ostmo will see much contact this spring; they don't need to. They do need to get used to the new QB, work on timing, etc.

He tore up his knee the first day of spring practice in 2021 in a non-contact drill. There is no contact until the players have a certain number of practices.

Jesus man. You trying to quit chewing or something?

Knight was a top 3 offensive weapon in the Big Sky the year before he was hurt. His talent was greatly missed. We could have continued winning with Brown if Knight was out there to catch 5-6 check downs each game and make big plays out of them. He will be the biggest addition to get back for the 22 squad

Never been a tobacco guy; prickly enough without withdrawal.

Knight and Ford are going to be the one-two 2-1 punch.
In case others have missed this:

Justin Ford is wearing #6 now.

Neat story actually…..when he came in and took 21 with Knight being out….he did so knowing full well he would go back to 6 (a number he has worn in past) once Knight was healthy and ready to play. He told Knight he wanted to rep 21 for him so he was still on the field with all of them and ball out for him. Riley interviewed him on this at the big sky media days. Ford is just a dude.

I will fully admit I was one who had reservations about Ford’s attitude and commitment when he decided to come here, and I voiced those concerns on this board.

This kid has proven me wrong at EVERY turn. He literally represents everything a Griz should be. I salute him (and apologize for jumping to some conclusions about him).
