Just an amazingly talented, driven, humble human being. Without a doubt in my top 5 Griz players of all time. Despite the joy of watching him burn the NFL on returns, my favorite memory will always be him pacing the sidelines during the SDSU playoff game, yelling at everyone on the bench, "We are not losing this f**king game" .........and then showing them how.

Carry on Mr. Mariani. You will probably be great at whatever else you choose to do.

I have never seen another player at Montana that could have done that. DD had some great comebacks, but he had to have the ball to do it.
