Manu Rasmussen transferring

Leave the Griz where I played and even started some games as a redshirt freshman and would probably play a lot this upcoming season.....and instead go to a JUCO in Cali? That doesn't seem a bit strange to you?

If there are other reasons behind it (academics, upcoming playing time, losing a spot, wanting to move for personal reasons, etc) then maybe it makes sense but I'm not aware of any of that, yet.

Nope....there are many reasons why a kid might move on....happens all the time....
 
Yup, this one isn't strange and doesn't fit into the bash Stitt category at all. On the other hand, it's pretty simple actually. Grizindabox is fully right. Not strange at all.
 
Not strange. Go to a JC. Continue your education. Play football. Get recruited all over again and maybe play some place closer to home. He is from Oregon which I do believe borders California. People see the world differently. After a year or 2 maybe Missoula wasn't for him. Many reasons to move on and not all of them sinister or a conspiracy.

Or the talent that came in(last year). Remember the Sanders transferring in thread? Many egrizers acted like Manu was the next great Griz safety and stated that Sanders was coming in for depth only. Right.....Manu was riding the pine after five quarters.....he was another staff's recruit. The odds were against him.

Since everyone is making there opinions be known as to why he is transferring.....I thought to share also.....it is aliens.....they have taken over his body.....probably as good of a guess as everyone else......#alienabduction....

What are you talking about???? Not strange at all?? You go to a JUCO so you can eventually sign with a Division 1 program. He was already at a Division 1 program and was in line to be a 3 year starter that has put 3 guys in the NFL recently at his position. What a stupid move. Obviously has some pretty stupid people giving him advice. If he doesn't want to be here he wont be missed.

I'm not gonna bag on Manu. From what i know he's a really nice kid. I'll just say that junior college is probably where he should have gone first.
