I watched his hudl tape. He was usually planting guys 5-10 yards off the ball. Looked very mobile he was a man playing against children out there. The team he played for rarely threw the ball from the looks of it. That looks like a pretty good addition to me. O-line is shaping up to be a strength for the first time in awhile.

What really stands out to me is he never gives up on a play, he has attitude, and he plays to the whistle (maybe even beyond). If he can get the signals and play book down he will be a force for sure. The offensive line is beginning to to take shape for sure. :thumb:

This is the first time in a long time that I can look at the roster and feel that there is legit talent on our third string. This is what it needs to be and build those young guys on this young group.

Now let’s be real. This guy looks great but he’s not gonna all the sudden turn us into national champs. He is however gonna provide real help to a run game. His pass blocking still has some ?s and he is not the first off the line. But hell he sure wins most the battles. We should expect to see dalton get some legit time in the pocket this year. We have some very good receivers. If we can find a grow the running game just a little, this offense is gonna be a real weapon.
