MBBALL Malik Moore in Portal

All the loyalty and character UM can afford. Maybe TDC got a Hallmark card from Moore, with something sentimental on it, recognizing how much he appreciates TDCs efforts, and faith in him, like:

'Rose's are red, Violet's are blue,
You took me in,
But, now I'll screw you!
🤣
[/QUOTE I’m embarrassed for you Mick.

The new annual migration is upon us. People just have to realize that college rosters are now a year to year deal and not dwell on what might be, and just focus on the now. I suggest that once the season is over, don't worry too much about the next one until September rolls around and the roster comes into focus.
Absolutely correct! The best way to approach this transition in college sports is to embrace it and hope Montana coaches can keep rolling sixes. Certainly the school, facilities, attendance (still atop the Big Sky) and record of success have to help. Montana coaches have done pretty well over the last few seasons. I've become a convert.

Unfortunately, for college athletics AND the fact that I'm agreeing with YOU, I think you are spot-on. This is what money, the Portal, the NCAA, etc. have brought to college sports. I think it will kill college sports.

When I started my college career at UM as a walk-on food service reup, that minimum wage stipend was crucial to beer and condom purchases for the quarter. Had NIL been around, I could have parlayed my stellar performances each year into a raise and promotion at UM, or higher glory at a P-5 cafeteria, if it caught the right manager's eye. You couldn't blame me for taking advantage of my success, whether here at UM, or down the road. What harm in looking to see what talent might lay on another roster ahead of me. I was willing to take chances then, but the damn NCAA had not yet been beaten in the courtroom. And back then, of course, a commitment was a commitment. Go Griz!

When you are from California and have even a modicum of education and sophistication living through a season in cold backward red state Montana is not offset by a championship season

I’m hoping against hope that Malik is testing the waters and will return if he doesn’t get an offer he can’t refuse…
