Makena Simis who has verbally committed to the Griz had an outstanding week throwing 5 TDs Saturday in a half.

His stats for the year are as follows:

Passing - 51 completions in 80 attempts for 683 yards 8 touchdowns and 1 interception average yards per completion 13.39

Rushing 27 carries for 139 years average rush per carry 5.15

This kid is the coach's son and has a very high football IQ. Capital is 2 and 1 for the year losing only to Eagle High an annual football powerhouse in Idaho in a close game. Capital runs an offense very similar to what the Griz run and this kid is a load.
