Ohio State won the national championship last year with their 3rd-string QB. I'm not saying the Griz will win the NC with our 3rd-string QB, but it's certainly possible that the Griz will be just fine with Simis.

Was he playing behind a second rate OL too?

He's right, Get 'em. There is no reason to think the Griz will ever win again. Why don't you just give up already? I've already sold all of my Griz gear. I am now in the Growler/Box camp.

We won't win with Stitt. If we do, it will be luck, and I will be mad.

I actually am still a Stitt supporter....as for winning again, I am all for it, just didn't think this was going to be the year...
I called it last December. I said, Box would not think this was the year the day Stitt was hired.

I remember that PM. Not to discredit you, but it was a pretty easy call, akin to my calling that Growler would not think the team was very good.

A pair of bunny shots.

I did predict in August that CDA and Ursa would switch sides, admit to their closet lovefest of everything salty as opposed to sweet...

Link?

No link, it was a discussion between myself and a homeless vet living near the bridge. I was giving him half of my subway club and he mentioned that you and Ursa were die-hard sugarcoaters...I said no way and made my prediction based on a gut feeling...of course that may just have been an issue related to the sandwich, but either way it seems as though it may have been correct....

I wouldn't offer half my subway to snap, but he was very excited for the bottle of mad dog 20/20 that has been in my trunk since 1986.

That's his jam. He thinks it gets better with age.

Mmmmm...love me some 20-year old MD....it's like JW Black....

Nope. He's not Stitt's guy and Stitt doesn't know how to coach QB's at this level anyway. He's been in Stitt's dog house this whole time and now they're gonna work together all nice like? Ain't gonna happen! :x :| :x

Bjorn,
Can I ask that you slow down a little? I'm trying to taking notes and learn.

Yes, please...it's hard to keep up this pace. How does AG1 do it? :x :| :x

Finally somebody has the balls to say what's on everyone's mind.

Am surprised that someone hasn't mentioned that it looks like we're getting closer to Alpha's guy, Prater taking the wheel of Stitt's offense. Best arm on the team, not sure if he's a Stitt guy or in the dog hotel. I understand he's requested a blindfold. Not sure what that's about.

CDA, I thought you'd opt for predicting Griz losses but "hope that you were wrong" and be "pleasantly surprised" if they win. Fence straddling and hedging are what make for a really solid fan. You could at least then condescend when people accuse you of being a turncoat: "Unlike you, I am a REAL fan, just not a maroon sunglass wearing sugar coater". Instead you opt to completely leave camp... Bold move reserved for the truly spineless. Think of the bright side, you are now unencumbered in your quest to become a pseudo-NDSU fan! Move towards the green and yellow light (that looks strikingly like a John Deere tractor stranded in a corn field). All your "friends" are waiting there for you!

I thought Simis looked good. Throws a much better ball than Chalich, has much more zip and accuracy it seams. More willing to run and more athletic than BG. He looks like a good blend of the two. If our Oline can somehow accidentally get in the way of tould be alright.

F&%k the haters, sugar coating it for everyone. Simis is going to blow the f&%king doors off of it. Wait... same five guys still blocking and we won't be going to triple tights, with two full backs. Never mind.

Glad to hear that you sold your Griz stuff, because you shouldn't be allowed to wear Griz stuff. It's all about the Karma and you bring bad Karma
