Madden 09 feedback please

This is the 1st year I have not bought Madden on the release date. It has lost its luster for me and seems to be the same old thing every year just with better graphics.

Anyone play it yet? IF so thoughts and feeback on it. Is it worth dropping down the money for now, or should I just forget about it?

If you have a PS3 save the money and get Civilization Revolution. Holy crap I'm addicted to that game.
