I only like good teams? Like the Raiders? Notre DAme football? Dodgers? Those teams are sweet. I love Grizzly basketball just as much as the next guy and I don't have any excuse about this team. I still love them but until they show me they want to win (which I think is coming soon enough) I have nothing to say about them. AJ is a stud though

You didn't answer #1 and #2!!! It's multiple choice, you should at least guess! I'll give you a hint: there are more people here who care about the zags than there are people who care about the Lakers. And there is a larger group that posts in the zag threads than the Laker thread. We can, of course, just drop it like you should have done before brining it up. This would be good for me because I am starting to feel bad; I think you might really have some sort of mental deficiency that is not your fault.

But, you are right, a lot of your favorite teams are indeed horrible.

Im even amazed im typing this....BUT lets bring this back to zag basketball.

I dont follow them because i dont get many of their games unfortunatly. Do you (Louise and CDA) think that the conference schedule and weakness of the schedule will hurt them come tourney time? Even with the scheduling of memphis mid season will it be enough of a challange to keep them on their toes? You can only blow so many people out till you start getting lazy and thinking you are way better than you are.


Do you honestly believe you can keep up with UNC? or even duke? UNC is arguably the most talented team in 20 years. With how many 1st rounders they would have had last year came back it is truly a once in a lifetime team. If they DON'T win it will be one of the biggest upsets i can remember in college basketball. Do you have the talent and speed of a texas?


Im asking the questions because i havent seen enough of their games to know.

My take on the conference schedule is that it can, and has, make/made us a little rusty going into tourney time. But this year I don't think it will be a huge issue. Saint Mary's is pretty good this year; and San Diego has a coach that knows the GU system as well as Mark Few does. Additionally, no conference game on the road is very easy; especially when the GU game is the most attended, most cared about game of the season. I think we'll lose two conference games. We'll have to see what happens in terms of complacency.

Keep up with UNC? No. Duke? Yes. Talent of Texas? Yes. Speed of Texas? Don't care.
