Yes... 5 from the Bigsky they are the best league by far this year

Davis could be a dark horse as a 6th team out of the Big Sky if they end up at 7-4 as well depending on how everything shakes out.

Sam Herder, HUGE bizun doucher, believes Big Sky is by far the best conference and MVFC will be lucky to get 4 this year, and after Idaho win, BSC will get 5 barring any.major meltdown by a team. Yes, Griz are in at 7-4, most likely playing the 1-seed if they win 1st round (it'll be ndsu/sdsu)

Well, when there are a fixed number of at large spots, and then there are a large number of teams with 8 or more wins eligible for those, then it makes it more difficult for a team with 7 wins to get one. My point was that 8 wins will get the Griz in, and 7 may not.

The Griz schedule is going very to be one of the harder schedules out there when finished. If they win some games with that schedule they still have a shot at a seed.

Also, I just glanced over the schedules. Turns out, UC-Davis closes the season with (after two cupcakes) Idaho and Sac State. If, by some miracle, they ran the table, they'd end up at 7-4 and be a likely candidate for at large from the BSC. I know, WAG, but fun (or maybe creepy) to think about.

UM needs to win its games. If UM were fortunate to win out, UM could get a seed, but the Big Sky would have to get a bunch of them. UM and Weber would have 2 losses, and UM would have beaten them. I wouldn't want to depend on 4 losses getting UM in the playoffs, but in theory all 4 losses could be to playoff teams, including a couple seeds. Looking at the Stats poll, the top 20 isn't exactly full of powerhouse teams. But that might mean that those teams end up with good records, due to lesser competition.

Edit: Weber and Jackson St. are above UM in the poll. Under my scenario, UM would beat Weber. Jackson doesn't do the playoffs. Then, even with other higher teams losing and dropping, UM would be 9th in the poll.

The most important thing is obviously winning the remaining games, or most of them. It would b nice to get Johnson back right away. And Bergen.

True and I agree, but, with losing to only those 2, there would be no bad loses either. Unless UM got blown out by someone, which I don't see happening.

They beat Wagner on the road (1-6 NEC), beat Monmouth on the road (4-4 CAA), beat Albany at home (1-6 CAA), lost by 7 to FBS Ohio University (5-3 MAC), beat Georgetown at home (1-6 Patriot), won at Lehigh (1-7 Patriot), and beat Stony Brook at home (1-6 Patriot). That's a 3-1 non-con record against terrible teams, and 3-0 against bottom feeders of a horribly week conference.

If the Griz go 2-2 with losses to scats and Weber, we're 7-4 with 2 MVFC wins (regardless of their record, but FYI South Dakota just beat So Illinois, who beat Big 10 Northwestern), a win against NW State who is shockingly 3-5 and 3-0 in the Southland and tied for 1st (a MUCH better conference than the Patriot ala SELa and Incarnate Word). If Fordham loses this week to Holy Cross (which I'm certain they will), but wins out (over Bucknell, Lafayette, and Colgate...wow), they will be 9-2.

Please tell me that you don't honestly believe a 9-2 Fordham gets in over a 7-4 Griz team who ran the gauntlet they did, with an OT loss (should've been a win) to suck state. EWU and Portland State would mop up teams in the Patriot league, as would South Dakota and maybe even Indiana State. We will make the playoffs at 7-4 absolutely no doubt about it.

Yes... i am saying a 9-2 team gets in every day over a 7-4 team.... the ONLY thing to hang your hat on is not quality wins, is not quantity of wins, but that the selection committee seems to like to award weak teams who have large stadiums... sooooo i guess there is that!

Well, I guess it's a good thing you're not on the playoff committee or a poll voter, cuz I think many would disagree with you (and some have said as much). Guess we shall see, though I see the Griz finishing 8-3 or 9-2.

To be fair, they are only 3-11 combined so I can understand that criticism.
