I remember when you would grab a couple of those babies hot off the grill and slather them with garlic sugar and I Can't Believe Its Not Butter. Then you'd plop down on the shag rug and gobble em up with a cool glass of buttermilk. My spicy man. I made a pillow out of my bowling jacket. Every time I put my little feet up on it, I think of you fondly. Oh sweetie. What happened to the us in US??

Not an easy day to forget. I remember every detail. The Cats wore blue, you wore chartreuse green because you didn't have time to change out of your highway flagging gear. It doesn't take much to see that the problems of two little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.
