Bobby will be forever grateful for Cliff. He saved his job.

Bobby’s job was never in jeopardy. The Griz saved McDowell’s career. And now McDowell has out his last year in jeopardy.

Head scratching decision for sure. A taste of success may have gone to his head, or he may have been listening to the wrong voices, but he’s not going to play at the next level like he did here, and he won’t be playing on Sundays. Thankful for the season he had here. Looking forward to the next man to step up and elevate that position.

No, he didn’t carry us, but the change to Cliff at QB was the spark that turned the season around. It helped the Griz find their identity as a unit. We sustained drives like we hadn’t in years, and that, in turn made our defense stronger. After that, everything gradually fell into place week to week. I hope Cliff has a great finish to his college career.

Bobby will be forever grateful for Cliff. He saved his job.

Is it true that Bubbies have Bobby Parties? I honestly could see a bunch of Bubbies having Bobby Parties wherein they talk about all things Bobby Hauck. A couple rounds of Bobby Beers, maybe a game of pin the Bobby on the Bobby. Probably a bulletin board with a bunch of pictures of Bobby and news clippings with yarn connecting them. I think it’s at the Cat’s Paw every Tuesday.

The Griz obsession is normal for that fan base, but the Bobby obsession is pretty creepy. We even had one guy say it means more if the Bubs could beat Bobby. That is next-level obsession.

Oh my god, you wanna see multiple heads explode simultaneously? Merely mention “Robbie” at one of those events. Example: “Hey, I heard the M’s traded Robbie Ray last week”.

Minds LOST.

So very true. Any mention of Robby Hauck kills them inside. They still talk about him even though he’s long gone. They can’t handle it. Remember when they were all about their defenders Stank and Snork, or whatever? Imagine if we were still trying to make jokes about how many tackles Stank had.

I’ll probably regret typing this, and I do really like a few Bubfans, but it’s a very pathetic fan base as a whole. They hate the Griz so much more than they like the Bubbies. Just pathetic.

Only Cliff knows for sure why he made the decision he made. There could have been conversations with Bobby about the direction they wanted to go next year, family reasons, or just a wanting to move on. Whatever the case, he has moved on, and made the decision that he felt was best for him. He'll always be a Griz in spirit, and will be a favorite in many Fan's eyes.
