What the hell is going on in the locker room? The OL stopped blocking halfway through plays most times, and rarely helped Vidlak up. Why?!

Just my observation but i thought they looked gassed most of the game. They looked tired and not ready.

We need to give them a little bit of grace. Those guys gave everything they had to beat Ferris State. Plus, then they had to play at 7,000+ feet elevation. That’s brutal.

Maybe because everyone knows it should have been McDowell starting..

I think that is very plausible

Bobby lost the locker room last year. I know the topic was previously covered, but the #37 debacle should have been the breaking point. In my opinion, Hauck mishandled the optics of having his son on the team. Robby was a warrior on the field. I’m not questioning his play, but questioning Coach Hauck’s handling of a sensitive situation.

Hot Take – The game has evolved significantly over the past decade. The biggest changes are related to power dynamics (tipping more in the player’s favor). Social Media, the Transfer Portal, and NIL have drastically impacted the college football landscape. Bobby's dated philosophy is no longer effective. The program needs a coach who understands these dynamics and how to balance/leverage them.

Do you honestly think guys who are playing their final season of college football, some with aspirations of playing on Sundays, are willing to throw away the season and possibly their futures to spite the coach?

Who on this team do you think has even a outside chance of playing on Sundays?

Maybe hill gets a udfa offer.

My question is why did he have the team walk out onto the field? Do you think the players like doing that? He did that with the players in the CAT/Griz game in Bozeman. Didn't work well there either. I would expect the players to come out running and fired up. Their walking out seem to set the tone with the team for the rest of the game. I like to see a team come out excited with an attitude to kick butt and take no names. This was like it was just another day at the office.

You are right, and I find it really strange, but I don't think it can be "well, if we walk out, then we can't play well in the 4th quarter, but if we run out we will be hyped!" There has to be more to it than that. I'm not going to sit here and speculate, but the walking out is the noise, not the signal.
