By locking these threads we appear to be as thin-skinned as bobcatnationville. Given our head-to-head record in the "rivalry," we're better than that. With our success, we shouldn't be afraid of divergent thought, criticism or petty jealousy. That's what happens when you have an inferiority complex. In addition, we have great posters that easily deflect the silly, inane and boastful comments of other fan basis. It's great to be part of a board that welcomes all FCS fans and all points of view. Censoring them makes us look small and cat-like.

For Christ's sake, we represent the University of Montana. Lets act like it!

If anyone gets on an anonymous message board and decides that is the face of any University, then they are probably not college material.

It is not exclusive to egriz. BN likes to think they are above it, but there board has the same elements. And as much as we like to think we are big time, spend some time on a power 5 message board, and you will see the underbelly of society. It isn't pretty and it certainly is not the face of a university.

By the way, Neale is a bobcat. Probably will be the first UNLV transfer to actually miss UNLV.

Nice rant dude... but we definitely have players family members, and recruits that check out the bcn board, I wouldn't think this one is any different. That makes this a part of the face of the university, good or bad. That's how it ends up in people's books. And no one said bcn is above anything, there's a fair amount of people off their meds there too.

Mods, please tell me what you considered stirring the pot in the thread you locked regarding the Cats transfer two. I am happy to admit I am wrong, but I don't see it. Did you ever think that maybe some people enjoy discussing what fans of other teams think of the new players their own team has acquired? Once again, an honest question.
 
This thread should be locked and GAW banned for a week for starting it over. This board is first Griz, second FCS but not cat dribble. Want to read about the Cats, head east.

Nobody was throwing anything in anyone's face. Seems like a Griz fan started the rumor thread. My intent was to confirm said rumor. Nothing more, nothing less, until you started denigrating the kid by calling him Griz sloppy seconds. Seems like the only shit show was the way you conducted yourself and the way you moderated the board. My intent had nothing to do with rubbing anyone's face in anything because as far as I know, he hasn't played a down for the Cats and therefore I have no opinion on whether he was a good get or not.
 
Censorship on this site has gone way overboard. Objectivity does not exist, subjectivity rules the day. Rules are stated, then ignored, for some. This site is as lame as BN. A million+ posts would never have happened with this type of moderation. The total would have been closer to 100,000 with the current regime. I don't know anyone on this board, so I have no one to support, no matter what he/she posts. I've lost count of the number of posters who have said they rarely post here anymore, then there are those that just dropped eGriz cold. Egriz could cease to exist at this rate, and no one would notice.

Ban me, Band me, I don't care. I might actually get some work done for a change. This says Montans Grizzlies Football and the FCS, not Montana Grizzlies Football and then FCS. If you don't want to know about our rival or any of competition in the FCS (includining NDSU which has had dozens of threads that have not been locked) then don't open them and don't read them. I appreciate knowledge.
