LMU

Impressive performances from the vets in a very solid win. Espenmiller-McGraw continues to impress. She’s a very different player from Fatkin but has so far done a solid job filling the void.

The Lady Griz can’t afford season-ending injuries for Stump or Bartsch, particularly Bartsch with Greenslade out for the year and Burton-Oliver out indefinitely.

Hopefully Macey Huard can start knocking down some shots.

Didn't watch the game. But it is nice to see the Lady Griz can win without two key players. Photo of Libby Stump on 406mtsports.com being helped off the court makes me think she is going to be out for quite awhile, possibly the rest of the year if it is a knee (ACL or MCL). Bartsch has a hip injury and nothing was said how serious. Hopefully she will be back soon because she is the best rebounder on the team.

Griz up on LMU in second quarter but have had Stump and Bartsch leave with leg injuries.

Stump looked like she tweaked her knee - doesn't look good but we'll have to see. I missed Bartsch's injury, but she was still on the bench in the 2nd half. Didn't see Libby sitting (I may have missed her).

Edit: corrected spelling for Dani's last name :)

Libby eventually came back to the bench. In a knee brace and using crutches.

Does anyone know the statis of Bartsch and Stump following their injuries at the game on Wednesday

Don't think anyone knows the status of either at this point. There are some posters that go to coaches show that could find out but there are the privacy laws.

Judging by photos on 406mtsports.com and gogriz.com, I would say Stump is likely out for the rest of the year as she was taken off the floor like every Lady Griz player that had an ACL was taken off the floor before her (photo of her was on 406mtsports.com).

Bartsch had more of a Hip injury according the post game article on 406mtsports.com, and a photo of her on gogriz.com signing posters for the kids after the game didn't show anything that she was hindered by an injury, so no way to tell how serious but just didn't seem as serious.

Best way a lot of us would know is simply by coming to the game and see who's warming up and who's in street clothes. Losing either Bartsch or Stump is a big enough blow but losing both would hurt more. We've already lost two to injuries in practice this year (Donarski and Greenslade plus Wacker taking a regular redshirt) and to lose two more for an extended period of time would be devastating.

Well, the Missoulian sports writer, Bill Speltz, in an article on 406mtsports.com, says Stump is out for an extended time, and Bartsch is questionable for game against Colorado State.
