sent an email to Kent about streaming before I knew about altitude 2. his response:

"Thanks so much for the email. This game will also be streamed at GoGriz.com. There is a charge to watch on GoGriz.com but you should be able to get it on Altitude 2. Appreciate your support of Grizzly football. Take care.

Kent"

Yes confirmed it will be channel 681-1 Direct TV for some markets. Namely Oregon, Wyoming Idaho and Colorado and will be on a random alternate for dish.
Washington too?

Does not look like it:

In Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, and some areas of Idaho:

Altitude 2 is available as a full-time service through DirecTV (channel 681-1) and many cable television service providers (use the Channel Finder to check availability in your area). Some cable providers chose to not carry any Altitude 2 programming at their discretion.
Comcast Cable does not carry Altitude 2 as a full-time service, but provides select Altitude 2 games to their customers on CET (Comcast Entertainment Television). Check your on-screen guide for availability CET SD is available on channel 105 in Colorado and channel 6 in Utah. CET HD is channel 900 in Colorado.
Dish Network does not carry Altitude 2 as a full-time service, but when bandwidth is available, provides live Altitude 2 games to their customers on a Sports Alternate channel. These channels change on a game-by-game basis, so please check your on-screen channel guide or on gamedays, check the altitude.tv homepage slide for a list of channel numbers for the game. Some Altitude 2 games are not available through Dish Network due to bandwidth constraints.
When no Altitude 2 programming is scheduled, Altitude 2 will simulcast the programming on Altitude.
In Montana, Utah, Nevada, and non-Nuggets areas of Idaho:

Altitude 2 programming is not available in these areas as a full-time service or on another channel.
Because Altitude is prohibited by the NBA to deliver Nuggets game to these areas due to territorial restrictions, when Nuggets games are on these areas Altitude service will automatically be replaced by Altitude 2 programming.

Actually the Spokane area of eastern Washington gets Altitude two as well mainly because Couerdalene Idaho and Spokane are kind of treated as one market.

That might be because of the altitude 2 thing. who knows.

FYI...Pub 85 the Griz bar In Kirkland does get Altitude 2 (confirmed with the owner) and we did watch both football and basketball games there last year on that channel.

Have we figured out if the games originated on Cowles Sports will be available outside of MT - and if so where and on what provider? I see the No Iowa game will be on ESPN3 which is a good deal if you have access to Watch ESPN.

This guessing game has become as much of an annual ritual as finding out if the groundhog sees his shadow... :?

I promise you GoGriz will mess shit up so bad...I will be very surprised if you get any video with it.

Happiness is not having to worry about streaming because you have two tickets to the game!!! Wheels up at 6:00 am, should be in Missoula by 4:30! Quick hike up to the M, some shopping for new GRIZ gear, Pressbox for pre-game. IT's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!

this website is usually very accurate. Altitude 2 for the St. Francis game.

If you have DISH, you can always use game finder, but can't see anything but a week out:

Unless something changes in the next ten or so days, still only streaming the radio broadcast.

I would totally not bank on that go griz all access crap....it screwed me so many times last year. I'm trying to find other ways to watch that game. It may be on ever sport or watch big sky, since it isnt a conference game.

Went to the Big Sky Conference web page and it says there, under schedules, that you can watch the St Francis game - live video . When you click on the video button, it takes you to Go Griz All Access page. If this is true, sure hope they offer a better product this year than they did last year. Like others have said, last year games on Griz All Access was a fuster cluck.

GO GRIZ!

The irony is that I live in the Denver area, the home of Altitude and Altitude 2. I get cable from Comcast, and they don't carry Altitude 2. Which in a way is hard to argue with, there is little content (other than the occasional Griz game) on Altitude 2 worthy of dedicating a channel to. I'm hoping for some sort of streaming miracle.

But, the last time I checked, GoGriz only shows audio - so who knows. Hopefully Ever-sport picks up the game - those have been pretty good streams.

GO GRIZ!
