BK sat down with the Griz Fan Pod last night and we chatted for a little over 2 hours! We had a lot of fan questions that wove into the conversation throughout sit down. You get a real good sense for BK's demeanor, expectations, and his background. He had a lot of great stories and he proved that he reads all the tweets and messages as he gave us a hard time about some of the AI slop the GFP attempted (and failed at haha).

It's a great listen, he's really a genuine dude - if you were on the fence before I think you'll find yourself rooting for the guy after this. Links to web/spotify/apple here - or as always, search up Griz Fan Podcast in your preferred podcasting app!

Thanks to Coach BK for doing the pod and thanks to all of the UM staff that made it happen and thanks to Coach BK and GFP for taking the time to make us Griz fans feel like we belong.

I'm sure he was keeping it PC for the pod but, damn, I miss the bantering that happens in coaching. Nothing better and nothing like it.

Good luck Coach BK but, for a myriad of reasons, I don't think you are going to need it.

Okay so I am editing this post.

I just finished listening to the podcast. I have to say... it's probably one of my all time favorites. I think, regardless of whether he is successful or not, I really like him. He is incredibly personable. I love the thing on the graphics. The fact that he could use AI to make an incredible graphic, yet he takes HIS personal time to make something, even as cheesy as it is, says a lot about him as a person.

I don't have a lot of after thoughts. I'll leave the nitpicking details to the experts that abound on eGriz.

My only after thoughts are that I really want him to be successful. He seems like a great person. He cares about the players, the community, the program.

***I am concerned about the DC and coaches from EWU, but... after reading some posts regarding Best and how he runs his program, I am less concerned than I was. I am hoping that Sanders and his staff had their hands tied by a micromanager.***

I still think it's going to be another year that is going to be record breaking for the offense, because they are going to have to put up tons of points to win games.
