Oh, and don't forget:CDAGRIZ said:No, it's the average Cat fan when the team takes the field and then goes behind the Cat Head so they can run out of it and take the field again whilst the Spirit of the Rockies plays the Kansas/Ohio/North Dakota fight song.

Hate to quibble because I have to live with the fact that my Alma maters' fight song is indeed the same as U of North Dakota AND . . . sadly . . . regrettably . . . embarrassingly . . . the same as the Bobs fight song.![]()
However, I just listened to both Kansas and Ohio fight songs and they aren't the same. I haven't checked your other examples, Ursa, because I know you to be a stand up kind of guy (see what I did there? Stand Up and Cheer! Stand Up and Cheer for Old Concordia) but there you have it . . .
And you once again outdid yourself with the ice cream analogy. Cold. But accurate.

Apparently there are two, "Stand Up and Cheer" versions. I was floored!

Apparently Coach Choate is some type of mesmerist because the cat fans could not spit out a single question.EverettGriz said:Did anyone ask what kind of improvements are going to be made on the Trail of Tears?

This site doesn't work for me. Do you know any other sites where I can watch the press conference?
Thanks.
Ursa Major said:As a Griz fan, I was deeply impressed by the presser. My favorite parts were both the awkward entrance and exit. Obliviously over stimulated, cat fans were unable to field a single question for him, Coach Harry Choate abruptly ended the press conference and walked to his left. No one came up to him so he awkwardly looked for Mrs. Harry Choate and his children and wandered back to his right. The stagecraft was masterful!!
With the hire of Coach Harry Choate, I can safely predict 'The Streak' going to six before the cats can manage to put up a competitive team.

Ya, I wasn't very impressed with the interview because not once did he even try to sell any "Choate Happens" T Shirts. Maybe that comes later, not sure.

Fields: OK Coach Choate, wow, that's tough to say, we are going to have you and your family come onto the stage and stand awkwardly to the right while the band plays Ohio's fight song. The full version. Including chants.
Choate: That sounds perfect to me.
Fields: Right?! And then after Nimitz and Dawson ask poorly-worded questions, you can take any questions from the public before standing awkwardly again. To the right. Oh, and we're doing this in Waded's garage with that sweet wood paneling.
Choate: I can't think of any better way to do this. Gametime!
