Lining up in shotgun-the last play

I know it's been said in a couple threads and figured I would just start a new one. If it doesn't pain you too much listen to the call of Jay Sanderson. He sounds kind of surprised that the griz are in shotgun on that play. Just kind of an interesting observarion.

Does anyone have Riley's call? I always like to year the two sides call on the same play.

I would rather have had Sneed under center too, especially if it was going to be a run. 2 plays to get in, due to having one more TO.

Two plays to get about four inches. Shotgun baby! Oh, timeout was called. Ok, two more plays to get about four inches. Shotgun baby!

No, make that 5 yards and 4 inches with the back having hardly any forward momentum before getting the ball.
How many times has that worked this season but at least rosey (small r) didn't try and pass it.

Hey, lay off Rosey. He ran the same exact play for a TD 40 seconds prior. It's just bad luck that MSU recognized that it might be coming again out of the same exact formation and snap count.

How about having one of those six tight ends push Sneed across the goal line after he lines up over center and takes the snap?

 Hey don't you mean 4 seconds earlier.

How much has Sneed been under center? Much more comfortable in the shotgun and less likely to bobble the snap or mess up the handoff. Even though there was a fumble anyways. QB sneak wasn't really a good option as we could not win the LOS.

No way. Shotgun. Shoulda went five wide.

Why not, all we needed was 4 inches.

Running the same play twice from the shotgun on the four inch line on the biggest fucking play of the year is the brand of Montana Tough power football the last guy just didn't understand.

Please tell rosey (small r)

I was (still am) shocked to see the GRIZ line up in shot gun on that play. How long have the GRIZ struggled at short yardage plays like this one? Sorry, but I am so tired of this being a struggle. Unfortunately, the GRIZ do not yet have the strength, toughness, and attitude in the trenches any longer, including the DL as well.

I cannot wait to see the GRIZ again line up in a jumbo package and smacking the living hell out of every defender again. When the GRIZ can again do this, that will be the official stamp of Bobby Ball returning to dominance. The current OL is young. How many of these guys can mature into a dominating OL? How many OL do the GRIZ have to add through transfers?

I hope that last play serves as motivation for every OL, for that matter, the whole team. I wonder, which players are in that weight room today, building the needed strength, toughness, and attitude to kick ass again???? Like it or not, on 11/18/18 the GRIZ are into the 2019 season!!! Off seasons produce champions!
