This thread was about next year's Linebacker group. Why does anyone feel the need to throw in any comments about coaching, games played last season, or Bobby or anything else irrelevant?
Is this childish back and forth all we have to look forward to on Egriz for the next 8 months?

Agree...not the right thread. Griz LBs will be well above average next year. That is not an issue.

You post like you have all the answers. You post like you know more than the coaches. Who was your frosh coach at Sentinel? Were you a backup on the frosh team?

There's a reason the griz aren't seeing more players and coaches move up to the FBS.

Yes, the players like the program, want to stay with the program, and are generally better team players. UM has and has had multiple players who could move up. So far, they have chosen not to.

There's a reason so many Cats are going into the portal. The school isn't a great place to play at, and doesn't develop as much team loyalty like UM does.

I was at the neighbor’s the other night. I almost pulled a Hawkeye and ran myself over trying to plow out that treacherous death slide he calls a driveway.
He said they lost their 3 best players…and 3 best coaches? How does that happen?
I didn’t know coaches could portal-out but he was convinced it was a good thing of course.
I asked if this was how their DC would travel now—via portal—but he didn’t like that

That was/ is NOT the position group with issues.

3-3-5 requires elite skills across the DL and the secondary. The 5 have got to be big, fast and very physical.

Recall there were TWO Frosh teams...Purple and Gold...Smardich may have been the coach of the other one, I'm not sure. I played Frosh ball in '76.
