Upon hearing it took god 7 days to create the earth, Dan Moore said "what took him so long.....slacker"

Little early to deify him. He's no Chuck Norris.

As I was reading I was just hoping you could get through your post without using the word, blessed. What is it with you fundamentalist Christians and that word? Kind of like a secret handshake thing I suppose.Sly Fox said:Our entire staff is very well paid especially for the FCS level. And with all of the major college & NFL experience, they rightfully expect to be compensated as such. We have been investing heavily in facilities and staffing to prepare us for the next level.
If you have questions about where the money comes from to fund our program, we don't rely on donations generally speaking. We do have some deep-pocketed folks who have invested heavily in the program. But our school is in amazing financial health primarily because we were one of the pioneers of distance education and we now have close to 70k active online students pouring funds into the school. Just 6-7 years ago when we were in the red. Today we are in the middle of a $250M campus makeover including a gorgeous new baseball yard. The next phase of our stadium expansion is expected to begin much sooner than later. we're pretty jazzed about how blessed we have been financially in recent years at a time when the economy has been so hard on other schools.

My favorite is where God gave humans free will and then killed all of them with a flood because they were not acting how he wanted them to.
There is nothing wrong with the concept of granting free will with the hope it will be used wisely. We enjoy freedoms in the U.S. -- and guess what -- misuse them and you too can end up with the ultipmate punishment. God just didn't choose to delay the process with appeals and stays of execution.
It's a good accurate word.stargriz said:As I was reading I was just hoping you could get through your post without using the word, blessed.
