Ought to be a decent opportunity for the LG, this would be the game to redeem themselves. WSU 5-8, C2-1, LG 5-10 C1-3. LG lost to UNC 49-57, stayed in the game with better shooting the last half, game 34% FG, 40% 3pt,16 TO, two players double dig scoring. WSU against UNC Won 65-52, game: 46% FG, 45% 3pt, 24 TO, 3 players double dig scoring. A few observations per LG last game: Waddington v. UNC switched to post play, 27 min 0 pts. Mack continues in a slump, but flashes of better play, Dani last game underperforming, Shubert flashy player beginning to contribute. LG troubles scoring overall!

The LG need to start winning some games, and like all basketball teams--men or women, high school, college or pro, protect their home court.

I think billingsgriz is pretty accurate in his assessment for coach Holsinger. If he doesn’t right the ship pretty soon his tenure could be in jeopardy.
The past two seasons, being out of state I eagerly anticipated watching the men’s and women’s team play on ESPN. In fact I can honestly say I was more anxious to watch the women more so than the men. So far this year it’s been the other way around.
Not being close enough to the “inside” issues I can only surmise is it the talent, the recruiting or the coaching? At this point I couldn’t point to either as being the reason.
I fear if attendance starts to drop then we will become a middle of the pack team that will no longer strike fear into the hearts of opposing teams.

We will let the University make any announcement. We are only hearing rumors that are starting to be confirmed.
Wow, that creates mystery. I noticed Mcliment-Call was dressed out but didn't see any playing time against UNC. Announcers of the UNC game noted that the lady griz looked "confused on offense." Hope the team culture isn't going down the drain. I'm becoming suspect of coaching given the amount of talent on the team. Wonder if Woolley has much influence.
Holsinger's biggest problem
Last year had those three seniors with tons of experience. Damn them for graduating!

They are releasing statements that he is taking personal leave. You have multiple sources telling news outlets he was placed on administrative leave.
