The only tournament that the LG have a lock on is the WNIT postseason tournament. They normally invite 32, then + 8 were added last year for the teams that hosted their conference tournaments that somehow didn't win them + some others I imagine are invited as well. This year another 8 are added, from what I have heard, for a field of 48.
I imaging that the NCAA Tournament would select only one team from the BSC this year, and that's the team that wins the BSC Tournament.

While I don't know for certain, obviously, I think it would be very difficult for the committee to leave Montana out if they stumble. They have a number of fair to good wins, and no bad losses (I'd say losing to Weber on the road is a "fair" loss). They have in Morales one of the top players (at least statistically) in the country. The team is among the national leaders in a number of statistical categories. And to boot, the team has a strong RPI.

Yes, it would have been nice. but, that game is what spurred on the streak that followed, because the girls all knew they could play better. Bad game served as motivation to do better. That is why I am in favor of Robin scheduling these types of games.
