Let's talk Fall camp, offense first

I'll say it slightly differently than Soldier, I'll believe it when I see it. Don't misunderstand, I want the OL to be much better and the coaches seem to have taken action to improve it. But ultimately, I'll believe it when I see it.

You said it much different than Soldier. You didn't say there was no evidence; you said coaches seem to have taken some action. Doubt that anyone would take any offense at your post.

3-4 games in - there may be some evidence....

This is fun.

There is evidence now. In 3 or 4 games, hopefully, there will be proof.

Why do people defend the indefensible?

Why do people defend the indefensible?

Proof will be a 1000+ yard tailback or tandem. Proof will be moving from 10th in league in rushing into the top 3. Proof will be several all conference selections. Proof will be winning games in the trenches, particularly in the 4th quarter with a lead. Proof will he an upright Dalton Sneed who doesn't need to rush for over 850 yards...

It will take a season to turn your hopes, desires, and opinions to into proof. We'll have some evidence after 3 or 4 games.

Seriously, are you even a lawyer? Is this keyboard working? Geez.

You don't know the difference between evidence and proof. It doesn't take a season to get to proof of improvement. Doesn't look like you understand the game of football either. Feel free to look at the Accolades section of my bio.

Why don't you post it with a glamour shot, so all can enjoy.

Why don't you support your statement questioning whether I'm a lawyer? Oh I know; you can't and don't support anything you say.

We shall see, the only evidence that counts is on the field, during a game or games.

I'm as excited about this coming football season as most Griz fans out there are. I like that we return so many key players off a young team that was a botched time out call away from making the second round of the playoffs. I like that the coaching staff filled holes and added depth in the offensive line, secondary, running backs, linebacker, and maybe an edge pass rusher or two on the defensive side of the ball. I like that this team will have a battle hardened schedule that will put them up against the best teams in the country every week (you don't get better playing weak teams). The focus of this thread has primarily been on the offensive line and their struggles this past season. You gotta like the additions of Pillans and Mallory up front and the guys returning will be that much more seasoned. If this receiving corps has time to run routes they will be deadly especially with a running game and a dual threat quarterback that can score any time he runs past the line of scrimmage. Just picture JLM, Sulser, Toure, Akem, Flowers out there in a 4 wide receiver set with a ninja quarterback and a running game that can gash you YOU GOTTA LIKE THAT!.....good luck defenses!

Ahkem had 147 yards receiving in Griz- Cat game. Cats had total receiving yards of 158. That is no laughing matter! He almost single handedly took over the last drive. Griz had no Oline last year and an anemic running game. Cats completely opposite. Both were very one dimensional. Cats have a problem at QB. Griz have shored up a lot of areas and if their O line is good they will have a good running game to compliment Sneed’s passing abilities. Going to be fun to watch. Can the Cats actually get a serviceable QB?

That "good luck defenses" part was just too funny. You guys are hilariously optimistic. I like it :thumb:
Cat fans are hilariously optimistic that they have a DI QB.
