I think it would be awesome and a nice touch if they listed and announced his position as "Football Player" next week.

It appears NAU is a one dimensional team,, Cookus,,, the Griz threw a new twist at them, Makena Simms.. the kid played his ass off,,, and won us a big game, was a fan early in his days here,,, a bigger fan tonight,, HATS OFF DUDE , you carried us
 
Simis is definitely one of my all time favorite GRIZ. Line that dude up anywhere, and he will figure out a way to get it done. He had 2 deep passes that were not that far off. Give him some more reps in practice, and he just may be completing those passes, if called upon again.

CDA, you gave the kid about as big as a compliment as one could give, he is a football player!!!
 
I like how he not only has a passing record, but close to the rushing record (for the year).

I think he can kick too!
 
My hat is off to the Senior, Makena Simis. Great game! Great enthusiam, even the small things. On several hand off plays, he'd head right into the scrum, pushing the pile. Thanks for stepping up again and taking the helm. :clap:
 
Can anyone imagine how difficult it would be to play QB when your arm is not use to throwing the ball for like 2 years. Dude is a STUD in my book!
