I think our talent at RB is pretty comparable with the cats. It’s their OL, scheme, and execution in the run game that we can’t shake a stick at.

Griz rb talent is way better than Cats. Cats’ run scheme and run blocking are very good. Cats’ 2 qb’s are very good at running. While some other teams handled the Cat running game better, the Griz couldn’t handle it. I doubt that the Cats’ o-line can run block very well. They usually don’t have to because the running game is so good and the qb’s often throw on run. The Griz o-line is talented and deep. I like them. I hear Walker has really come on. My view.

Pfffffffff...... That's cute PR. Did Bobby tell you that?

Bottom line, the Cat OL is the best and deepest in the league..... by far. There are at least eleven players on the line that could all be starters on any team in the Big Sky, including the Cats. Yes....... in 2023 there are going to be players on the OL that are JUST AS GOOD as the starters. Not better.

Everyone paying attention knows. And everyone knowledgeable.

Your great back Elliott played in 14 and started 5 games.

Not many would start for Griz. Can’t pass block

12 Griz lineman would start for Cats.

I agree with all of this except the highlighted portion. What? The dui protégés can most certainly run block. Please tell us that is not what you meant to say.

OL may be the best. Takes more than an o line to win. Griz proved that last year. More importantly, the Cats have solid QB’s with good leadership skills. Injuries, injuries, injuries could be a factor with either QB. Cats defensive is questionable and there are problems on the team that no Cat fan wants to talk about. Most aren’t even aware of the disease festering within and the damage the DUI mess has caused. Plus the lack of overall confidence that Veggie can win the big games when they count. Things are not as rosey as you portray and I cannot wait until this season starts. You clearly haven’t paid attention to the Griz running back situation and have no idea concerning the depth and level of talent they have available. Cats have become arrogant, which is perfect. People can be critical of Hauck and some of it is justified. This year the Griz will silence much of the criticism, including my own. QB has been the Achilles heel. Not this year. Special teams, QB, running backs, receivers, o line, d line and defense in general will be stout. If there are any concerns they are as follows, corner back. Tight end and d tackle. Two of those likely to be solved before or in fall camp. Corner is my greatest concern. Should be an issue against the Cats since they rarely pass, which will be an issue for them all year. Their offense has become on dimensional.

Imagine someone being so clueless as to make a statement like this. Thanks for calling it out.

Oops. Obviously, meant pass block.

I feel like we could have taken the thread title "Let's see you preseason polls!" and run in a completely different direction. Poles?

1. Preseason Champs: Montana State Bobcats (backup OL and 6th string Elliott would all start for the gris)

2-6. Any order: Vandals, gris, Wildcats, Aggies, Hornets
7-9. Any order: Lumberjacks, Vikings, Eagles
10-12. Any order: Bears, Mustangs, Bengals

1. MSU
2. Montana
3. Idaho
4. UC Davis
5. Weber
6. Sac
7. EWU
8. NAU
9. PSU
10. Cal Poly

Yeah maybe, I think your top guy had almost 600 yards and 4.9 a clip, there’s something there for sure. We will see this fall!

Top UM returner has about 750 yards. Returners
Averaged 5.8, 5.6 5.2 and 8.1. New frosh could ve better than them.

Do you just make up everything you post, or just outright lie?

I was going off the BSC website… you know since we play BSC teams. Take it up with them.

MSU has 3 top 10 returning rushers. UM: 0. Call it what you want. UM failed to rush for 100 yards 5 times last year… compared to MSU failing to rush for less than 100 once, and less than 231 twice. (Against FBS and the national champions). You should let this one go.

Interesting one PR…. I’ve seen a lot of outlandish comments. But this one might take the cake.

1. MSU- defending champions, best offense in the BSC, can the defense hold teams when it counts? Probably.
2. IDAHO- could take another step forward, we will see. Beat a lack luster UM team on the road last year, will get MSU in the dome.
3. WSU- should be competitive on defense still, let’s see if they can score more points this fall.
4.UCD- they bring back a good QB, and Hawkins seems to have a competitive team as of late.
5. SS- co-defending champion. Let’s see what they can do. I’m not super “bullish” on them. But they’ve been on top for awhile now.
6. UM - definitely unpopular for the subjective fan here. But objectively, they lost a lot on defense and return a decent line with no stars around it to block for. New OC and QB.
7. NAU- they continue to recruit well and have great facilities. Will best someone this year they shouldn’t as most fans notice. Maybe they string a few BSC wins together.

Whoever else you wanna jumble in. Maybe you could flip flop SS and UM. We will see in October. Don’t let September cloud your judgment.
That is about how I see it as well. The only thing I would add is that weber gets MSU, UI, and Davis in Ogden this year. that could make all the difference in the world. Also, Weber gets MSU early on and that can also play into things. Weber's most difficult road game comes at EWU and as long as the Wildcats can keep from puking due to the pink turf, that one should be a win. ;-)

I would move UM ahead of Suc State. (Oh No, We Suck Again)

WSU has some dudes left over. Favorable home games could help. I’m not down and out on SS until we see them lose some games. It’s always easy to say “they won’t follow up with another winning season like that” as an opposing fan. I do feel like I’m riding an Idaho Hype train. They’ll have to prove it this year. Definitely a good team. But what was the signature win last year? They got smoked by Davis (who could be legit again). Lost to SS. However beat the #6 conference team in UM on the road.

Truly a missed opportunity.

For which I’m eternally thankful.
