So the Idaho coach is his future father in law? And wouldn’t BH have had to sign off on an intra conference transfer? This is totally weird imo

I believe the big sky did away with intra-conference rules that made it challenging for athletes. Think they announced that like in the last 6 months, so kind of new.

Any chance he will play for the Vandals or was it a family type scholarship deal? I wonder if the true Vandal vans never said a word about putter jr’s kid starting at qb for like 2 seasons?

I tried looking up Petrino's contract, but it seems to keep rolling over, and over. Contract extensions for various reasons, and the buyout is in the neighborhood of $14 million. OK you lawyers, do some digging. What I found looks like he negotiated the job of Football Coach for Life.
 
As a small town Montanan out of Boulder, I had hoped for better things for him. He and Jace Lewis were in the same class and one rose to the top and the other never seemed to make an impact. Wish him well after football.

Does this open up another scholarship?

Why is it weird to move closer to your fiance? I think Anne Mari Petrino was going to attend Gonzaga, so moving to Moscow cuts that trip in half at least. And a lot of people enjoy their in-laws. I have no idea on Idaho's FB/TE situation and whether he has a better chance for playing time.

Having made the trip from Moscow to Gonzaga many, MANY times while in college (MY fiancé and future ex-wife was going to school there while I was a Vandull) I can assure you, it’s much less than 1/2 the trip. And no snowy mountain passes to conquer either….
