Don't necessarily care about cycling. Do, however, care about a guy with connections to Montana.
 
Levi of course is from Butte and got 3rd last year at the Tour De France. His old team Discovery disbanded this year, so him and many of his teammates followed their team director(Head coach), Johan Bruynel, to Team Astana based out of Kazakhstan. Last year Astana was kicked out of the Tour during the event due to 2-3 of its riders getting busted for drugs. But Astana changed everything for this year: its leadership, its drug policy, & 90% of the riders. Basically its a whole new team with only the sponsors name the same. The problem really lies in the fact that the Tour was not going to kick out a few of the French teams who also had drug problems last year. The Internation Cylclist Union is going to sue based on the inequity. Signing the petition by itself is not going to change their minds but may motivate those who can do something about it.
 
I was talking with one of my friends who is hardcore into cycling. He thinks that in the end Astana will ride in the Tour. It would be damn stupid to not have Contador or Levi in the race.
