Also if you can pressure without blitzing on every down you can control the game.
Kind of like SDSU/Frisco 2024.
I'm not arguing that but KC defense shut down Saquan. But there is no possibility for the KC defense to win the game with the turnovers KC had.

KC OL was average or worse. It made Eagles d better

KC seemed to believe that controlling Barkley would lead to a win. They gave up too much defensively to do that.

KC seemed to believe that Mahomes and the offense could score enough to win. They did very little offensively to do that. Eagles defense was the best unit on the field.

KC's line.couldn't protect Mahomes and as Tom Brady noted last night, the last time that happened to KC was the 2021 Super Bowl when his Buc's D similarly won the line of scrimmage and thumped KC, 31-9.
Andy Reid, an old O line coach, retooled his O line four years ago and it's time to do it again !!!
Spag's D gave KC a chance as his strategy apparently was we won't let Barkley beat us, you'll have to beat us another way. The KC O, particularly the six sacks leading to 2 picks and 2 Eagle TD's and many QB hurries, just couldn't answer the bell aa Mahome's constantly had an Eagle or two or three in his face and all of that with hardly any blitzes !!!
Bottom line: if your O line gets whipped like KC's did, you're --barring a miracle--going to lose. Thus, for us, GRIZ O line Coach Pawlak's emphasis on a bigger, stronger, more mobile O line so we can compete and beat the NDSU and SDSU's of the world !!!
( The other lesson for us is the Eagle's four-man D line dominated the KC O line and, as a result, Philly didn't have to blitz much and, as a result, KC receivers usually were covered well by an Eagle defender(s). Unfortunately, our 3-3-5 stack D requires a lot of blitzing to put pressure on the opponent's QB which then leads us to being vulnerable to the pass. I wish we would junk the 3-3-5 unless playing a Mike Leach Air Raid inspired offense, but I am probably peeing into the wind.)

And Flagstaff was where he met Brad Childress, the new offensive coordinator. When Reid took over the Eagles in 1999, he made Childress his quarterbacks coach and then offensive coordinator before Childress became head coach of the Vikings and ultimately rejoined Reid in Kansas City for four years.
Meanwhile, beyond Reid and Childress, Kentera also hired two other future NFL head coaches in his five seasons at NAU: Bill Callahan and Marty Mornhinweg, who like Reid and Koetter spent time at Mizzou.
When Chiefs coach Andy Reid was in his late teens in Los Angeles, his older brother, Reggie, studied geology at Northern Arizona University.
After Reggie suffered permanent damage to his right arm in a motorcycle accident, the little brother spent a summer in Flagstaff helping him with the demanding field work of digging holes for soil samples."

way worse than average. Philly got home regularly rushing 4. You ain't ever gonna win giving up that kind of pressure. Mahomes spent most of the day on his ass or running for his life.
The Philadelphia defense was the single best unit on the field.
Teams don't get to the superbowl with average or worse offensive lines.

My MVP was the Eagles' D-Line. They were truly awesome the whole game.

Kc had a very good d that shut down maybe the best rb ever.
