Le'Keldrick Bridges

Hey Griz Nation, I can only imagine what Le'Keldrick is going through right now with the fumble on Saturday. I know he hasn't shown it in games yet this year but this kid can catch balls. Plus, he blocks way above his body size. The coaches wouldn't give him the opportunity if he didn't show it in practices. I'm sure the coaches are checking to see if it's physical (does he need glasses) or mental (has the yips) because he has the physical tools to do it. Whatever the situation, he and the coaches are going to get it figured out. We need to give him some Griz Nation love because something (The Holy Spirit) is telling me he's going to execute on a play to win us a National Championship. If you have social media connections with him, show him some love and let him know that we believe in him.

Man. I love this post. Absolutely agree 100% . I can't imagine hating on a freshman due to mistakes. Bad kid, bad attitude? Sure. Not from a tough play on field. Never. Hes got a bright future!

He just made a basic mistake a lot of athletes make in a lot of different sports. He started to make a move and took his eyes off the ball and almost completely whiffed. He certainly doesn't need to be tarred and feathered over it, a teaching moment and hopefully a fantastic career moving forward. He was my choice on the thread for breakout players you'd like to see, and I still have high hopes for him.

He definitely was thinking about the run and the closing defender who wasn’t supposed to be there. That defender made up that gap quick and got a hand on the ball when he was going to grab it after the first bobble. Tough play, rough break, luckily not a game deciding type of play this week. He’s shown flashes. If the staff is as devout about developing raw talent with high ceilings as they have stated and shown, then I think we see a push by the staff to get this kid to where he needs to be like they did KAY.

Man, people make mistakes. It happens. Were any of us in his head on Saturday? No. After coaching kids forever, all of you and myself included, can say without a doubt he is replaying that over and over in his head. Nobody is a worst critic than we are on ourselves.

The very fact he is on that field, and in the play says he belongs there and needs to be back out there with our full confidence, just like we are with everyone else, even if we are critical at times.

I remember seeing Sammy and some other young receivers dropping plenty of balls when they were freshman or even Sophs. Then they were all conf players. This kid could be too.

I was hugely high on the kid, and realize his issues could be temporary. I hate to see it in anyone and do believe he could be a huge help if he gets his head screwed on straight.
