Gfeller is going to teach in North Idaho area and coaching HS ball. She is not on LG staff. Heard this from a HS coach in the area.

But seriously, of all the ladies that played for our program The lady Griz, that put in the time the effort the sacrifices to better our program, We've had lots of young ladies that I felt like could be. It's very influential, too new players, styles Barts, G Feller. Gina Markton, Maggie Mcgraw MJ Bruno. The list is long. So again, I'll say it, .................nothing at all

I have no idea what you are trying to say. But for sure you have mis-spelled half the names of the Ladies you mention. I guess you are saying either, "I'm drunk" or I'm an idiot".

Ok, let me tell you a question,
explain the logic in hiring someone who didn't stay true to a program, MSU, then to NAU, who has no college coaching experience, gets hired to coach for our Lady Griz, Someone that our Ladies had to defend against, curious how the current and especially past Ladies feel about that? When our program has produced numerous Ladies who could fill the position, who have stayed true to our program, put in the time, effort, and blood on our court, even when things were rocky?
My sincere apologies to the ladies whose names my phone missed spelled.
In my opinion, if you're going to allow someone to get their foot in the door coaching with the Lady Griz, it should be someone who earned that right, with the blood, sweat and tears of being a Lady Griz.

My GUESS is that this is a PR type move for the Lady Griz in bringing on the kid of a legacy Lady Griz who the LG didn’t even recruit - BIG YIKES - especially since she was CLEARLY good enough to play in the big sky. She’s interested in coaching, interviewed and did well enough to get the job.
This gets her probably where she could have been all along plus helps repair / strengthen the relationship with a past Lady Griz player.
Win win in my book.

Actually, helps repair the relationship with TWO past LG players Leia's grandmother Kelly Pilcher and Aunt Carla Beattie.
And it is worth noting once again, that Leia wanted to be a Lady Griz. But the LG coach at the time refused to recruit her, instead offered to help her get on with Carroll.
This is exactly my take. None of the players mentioned have ties to Missoula do they? Lot of talent in Missoula and the Cats have been getting their pick. And look who just got hired to be a HS coach in Missoula.
I'm very happy that Leia is on the Staff her Mom Kelly was a great player and person. Leia will be a good coach someday.
Her Grandpa Russ will get to spend time with her and I'm sure he is very happy to have her around.

Hung around Russ at Big Sky HS in the early 90s. One of the great ones.
I went to school with Kelly and had Russ as a Criminology teacher. Russ started my interest in the Judicial system.
