Legacy #73 for offense?

I was under the impression that there is only one legacy number allowed. I've never understood why it's gone to someone on defense since Paulson handed it off. I was surprised that for the first time in how long it is going to an underclassman.

I kinda like the idea to improve DOLA if it is made available to all O linemen, regardless of where they come from, like Cory Procter, from Gig Harbor, Wash., who Thatcher helped recruit and like Thatcher, went on to play in the NFL.

O linemen don't get a lot of recognition usually--having a legacy number just for the center, guards and tackles could have some merit to give the big boys some added recognition and love ❤️, a morale booster.

Coach Stitt, a good man but trapped by his gimmick, no-huddle offense, also heavily used hand and arm signals. Are we going to stop using them because he did ?

We stopped using that putrid green hat, correct? lol

Yes, the green GRIZ cap was a hoot--I read the story, forgot the details, but I believe it was to honor one of Coach Stitt's late friends ?

I used to worry when Coach Stitt was flipping around all of those hand and arm signals that he was having a seizure !!! ( And I bought the whole " We get to run more plays per game because we don't huddle and we'll wear the bad guys out and light up the scoreboard like an old pinball machine !!!" By his second year, I and most other GRIZ started to wonder, " Yeah, but Coach, if we keep going 3 and out and don't score, aren't we going to wear out our own defense ? "... Stitt happens, dammit : ) !!!

This is what I was thinking with the proposal.
