That comment is not very intelligent. If your name was "gang rape", maybe you could sue. But if you allege a gang rape occurred and it is proven to not have occurred, can you continue to use the term with reference to a football team's members in good conscience? Should you win an award based upon an unfounded allegation? No one is going after a messenger here, because a messenger would actually have to have a substantiated message. Florio does not.

correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there an investigation that involved an alleged gang rape?? obviously that was dismissed, and a few Griz football players seemed to conveniently disappear after it's conclusion, so water under the bridge.

I'm not defending Florio or the Missoulian, but I think a lot of people on this board are being EXTREME hypocrites when criticizing others for being biased.

Not taking sides here, but from my perspective it seems many of you EGrizzers are the ones with the overwhelming biased.

So inserting Jordan Johnson's name into a report of the conviction of Beau Donaldson was a typo? Continuing to refer to a gang rape for which no evidence has ever emerged, and hence no charges, is a typo? You are totally blind (or biased yourself) if you can't see the feminazi agenda.

To my understanding there was evidence.....evidence that showed, um.... well.......that the girl was pretty into it, lets just leave it at that. On top of that the other girl who was involved told the police officers that this girl is full of shit and that no one was drugged and no one was raped.

I called it, she is back foaming at the mouth now that she was given an award. More of the same old agenda driven crap appearing on the so-called newspaper. An update (yeah right) that the justice and education departments investigations are ongoing but nothing has been revealed yet, and another one about the unknown NCAA investigation and tailgate warning we all heard about already. Notice how each were used as a means for her to recycle her anti-Griz trash about unfounded allegations.

I'm sure the day and/or night before the Brawl of the Wild will see another round of non-award winning articles. Count on it, and it will go something like this...

Gwen Florio-"Some of those incidents allegedly involved gang rapes, with women possibly drugged; some allegedly involved UM athletes."
